With the NBA lockout still up in the air, Miami Heat all-star and latest designer for Hublot watches, Dwyane Wade, needs options. Most recently, it has been rumored that the basketball icon-turned-global superstar will be the latest to join the cast of ABC’s wildly popular Dancing With the Stars reality celebrity dance competition show.

Also rumored to join is Los Angeles Lakers’ Ron Artest. Dancing With the Stars’ most recent winner and pro football star Hines Ward can attest to the rumors. In a recent interview, he was questioned about Wade joining the cast, and although he did not yet have anything concrete to say, the insider revealed, “I don’t know, but I did hear rumors and his name did come up. I also heard Ron Artest too.”

Between talks of Wade going overseas to play and now this news, we can only hope he will stay stateside with his loyal fans. If we can’t see him on the court, seeing him heat up the dance floor might just be the next best thing!
