Haute 100 Update: David August’s Exotic Leather Goods Collection, Including World’s Most Expensive iPad Case
Haute 100 Los Angeles member David Heil of David August Inc., has been responsible for outfitting scores of Hollywood’s hautest men, including A-listers like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr., and a number of billionaire business tycoons. The clothier released an exclusive collection of exotic leather goods, including a $6,900 iPad case – the world’s most expensive.
The iPad case is just one piece of the ultra-luxurious collection. It is crafted from the finest alligator skin, and is hand cut and stitched in Italy by a family of skilled artisans, ensuring an incredibly stylish and luxe way to tote around your trendy gadget. Its superior craftsmanship and lush, exotic material make it the world’s most expensive cover for the coveted iPad, and sells for nearly 14 times the amount of Apple’s basic 16GB model itself.
Accompanying the iPad case on the indulgent David August leather goods line are a soft laptop attaché case for $12,900, Dopp kit for $7,800, a watch holder for $7,800, and a change tray for $2,400 – all made of the rich alligator skin.
