Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt, has provided financial backing for HALO mine clearance teams in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. Jolie and her brood of six have been staying at a 16th century estate in Glasgow while Pitt is filming ‘World War Z. Her children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh visited HALO and were educated on the important cause.

“Pax, Maddox and Zahara all come from countries that have land mines and war,” explained HALO co-founder and director Guy Willoughby. “She felt it was important for them to learn about land mines in a safe setting.”
