Recently Haute Living was invited to a stellar event hosted by The Collection in Coral Gables where the new Ferrari FF was unveiled before a prestigious crowd of exclusive collectors and owners of Ferrari automobiles. This was a much anticipated event because of all the rumors surrounding the new Ferrari FF and how it would be the most powerful, versatile, four-seater as well as, four-wheel drive ever built by Ferrari. The FF is an acronym for Ferrari Four (four seats and four wheel drive) and it ushers in a new era for the prancing horse with a new GT sports concept.

The FF features a 4RM four-wheel drive system that weighs 50% less than a conventional four-wheel drive system and helps maintain a perfect weight distribution to deliver unsurpassed levels of performance on all terrains and in all conditions where you can feel the 660 horsepower engine no matter what road you are on.  In line with true luxury, there will be a Poltrona Frau interior package with the most supple leather and stitching ever afforded to their unique car seats.

The crowd was a frenzy to see, touch and feel the new gem of Italy.  Our gracious host Ken Gorin CEO of The Collection was on hand to tell us all the nuances of this V-12 beauty that can take 4 passengers from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and the all new 7 speed dual clutch transmission pushes this 6.3 liter engine to feel every single one of the 651 horses it puts out.

Once the frenzy subsided all the guests were treated to champagne and caviar treats to enjoy the rest of the evening and meet international collectors and Ferrari aficionados from all over the hemisphere. This was one Haute event not to be missed and soon to be remembered when we spot the Ferrari FF on the road.
