by Diana M. Jacome

Miami is a city that has been quick to expand in the area of popular eateries, especially fun burger joints. During the second half of 2012, master mind and restaurateur, Danny Meyer will bring yet another Shake Shack to his Miami market.

Meyer continues his burger crave, expanding in more than 4 markets (Dubai, Kuwait, and the UAE), Miami seems to be treating him well. The first location that opened down in Miami (back last summer) is in the heart of South Beach on Lincoln Road.
Meyer reports to New York Time magazine that he loves the idea of undergrad students as his prime clientele. Here students can cross the street to enjoy tons of large screen TV’s, fun music as well as some amazing burgers and shakes, all of which will bring the much needed success to this area in the Gables.

Shake Shack might even do surprising well here, as it’s been a tough location for other contenders, like it’s current tenet, Smoke’t—that have tried to bring savvy businesses to this particular neighborhood but haven’t quite succeed. Shake Shack will also bringing some friendly competition to Five Guys, located up a street from where Meyer plans to bring his shake.
Shake Shack will be moving into 1450 South Dixie Highway. Coral Gables, FL 33146
