Source: NY Post

Nightlife fixture-turned-actor Danny “Danny A” Abeckaser is prepping a movie based on the city’s club impresarios, called “Life.”  The film tracks a Jewish club promoter from Brooklyn who makes it big in the after-hours scene while balancing family and faith.  Abeckaser, who also crafted the script, is slated to play the starring role, and is in talks with “Entourage” star Kevin Connolly about playing the role of a Las Vegas club don. Filming starts in the fall.
