Cool Down With Watermelon Juice in NYC

When the summer sun is beating down in New York City, everyone is looking for a quick trick to cool down. What better way to revitalize than with a healthy and refreshing glass of watermelon juice? Here are a few great spots to cool down in NYC.
Nothing screams summer like a cool glass of watermelon juice. With temperatures rising across the country, everyone is looking for a quick fix to the dreaded heat. Healthy and refreshing (and not to mention delicious!) a glass of watermelon juice might be the mid-day fix many New Yorkers need to keep them going.
The first option is to head over to The Juice Press (three locations in East Village and Midtown West) for a perfect cup of cold-pressed watermelon juice with no additives. If you want to mix it up a bit, visit ABC Flixer Bar where watermelon is blended to perfection with lavender and fennel. A quick refreshment here will cost you $11 but the space is outfitted with serene and rustic touches with an “exotic shabby chic” aesthetic that helps to shut out the busy noise of the city.
If you’re looking to spend some time people watching while you enjoy your drink, head to Café Gitane where a simple glass of watermelon juice (no additives) perfectly accompanies a snack of avocado toast (seven-grain bread topped with mashed avocado, chili flakes, lemon juice and olive oil).
Soho’s Lafayette Espresso Bar + Marketplace is one of the top favorites for watermelon juice. The location blends the juice with basil and comes out blood red and slightly spicy.
