The Museum Tower Penthouse at the St. Regis in San Francisco, C.A. has been marked down from $70 million to $35 million and is currently the most expensive bank owned property in the U.S. The apartment, which has never been lived in before, has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and four half bathrooms. The entire space is approximately 2,000 square feet and was built by combining three apartments over two floors thanks to real estate mogul Victor MacFarlane. The property, represented by Sotheby’s International Realty, will be available to see come September. So if you were thinking about closing the deal on something else, you might want to wait.
