by Alexandra Delgado
Tonight, the community’s finest chefs, sponsors, and philanthropists will gather for a night of exquisite food and fun with a purpose: to end childhood hunger in America.

Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation culinary benefit returns to Miami, presenting an occasion for the community to indulge and contribute. Coordinated by Event Chair Chef Allen Susser of Burger Bar/Chef Allen’s To Go and Chef Chair Chef Andre Bienvenu of Joe’s Stone Crab, the event will be held at The Fairmont at Turnberry Isle in Aventura.
This volunteer-driven benefit invites guests to enjoy food from South Florida’s most raved-about chefs and restaurants, a live auction, and even a cook off. Participating restaurants include China Grill South Beach, The Forge, STK, SushiSamba Dromo and many more.
Share our Strength’s efforts have raised over $75 million towards ending hunger in America and abroad.
Tickets to the culinary benefit will be available at the door. General admission tickets are $125 and entrance begins at 7 pm. VIP tickets are $250 and include early admission (6 pm), access to a VIP lounge and a gift bag. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Share Our Strength’s determination to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.
