Ever wonder what San Francisco was like in the 70s? If you think it was much different than it is now, then think again. Tales of the City pays an exuberant homage to the colorful characters of San Francisco. Based on Armistead Maupin’s iconic series of novels, Tales of The City is a playful celebration of liberation, love, relationships, keeping secrets, coming out, and living life in the world’s most fascinating city.
This past Sunday was a special night for Tales of the City at the A.C.T. Theatre. A line circled around the corner for good reason, as Sunday’s tickets were sold exclusively to Emmy members. TV personalities, members of the press, and Emmy Winners alike were all a buzz in the intimate venue.
The show will come to a close July 31, so act now. Tales of the City is a San Francisco Classic not to be missed. Weekday tickets start at $50, and weekend tickets start at $53.
