Haute Event: South Florida Symphony’s String Sextet
This Monday, July 25th at 7PM, the musicians of the South Florida Symphony will be performing Tchaikovsky’s “Souvenir de Florence” for a special string sextet. Tickets are $50 and include a pre-concert wine and cheese reception and post-concert champagne and dessert.
The South Florida Symphony was established and has been developed by the beautiful and talented visionary, Maestra Sebrina Maria Alfonso. It now celebrates its 14th performance season in South Florida and has partnered with the Crest Theatre for three magnificent and magical symphonic performances in a Sunday matinee series December 4, 2011, January 29, 2012, and March 11, 2012. The Crest Theatre at Old School Square was originally Delray High School founded in the 1920s and has been fully restored and now serves not only as a successful performing arts theatre, but also as a location where area community and professional arts organizations can continue to thrive as they perform dance and music concerts as well as, hold town meetings and other events. Crest Theatre programs are sponsored by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, the Florida Art Council, and the Palm Beach County Cultural Council.
