Neiman Marcus and Beverly Hills Celebrate the Legend Fred Hayman and His New Book – The Extraordinary Difference.

Last night a special evening cocktail party was hosted by John Martin at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills to support and honor the legend Fred Hayman and his new book The Extraordinary Difference by Rose Apodaca. The story of Hollywood Glamour and the showman who sold it all.

The “Old Guard” of the city and many of his most glamorous clients including Betsy Bloomingdale, Nikki Haskel, Judith Krantz were on hand for the celebration to toast and thank Fred for his many years as a style leader and icon. His famous brand Giorgio Beverly Hills and store on Rodeo Drive with its signature yellow and white stripes helped to make Beverly Hills one of the top shopping destinations in the world. Considered an American Revolutionary, he changed the way the world considered Los Angeles style.

With his wife Betty Endo at his side, Fred autographed his new book and reminisced with guests about the days when we would all shop his luxury boutique on Rodeo Drive and enjoyed having a glass of champagne at his signature bar in the store which felt like home for many of us.

Other guests last night included, Lois Aldrin, Mary Ann Mobley, Joni Smith, Christine Chiu, Don & Judy Tallarico, and Marcia Hobbs.
