World Renowned Designer Jeffery Beers Brings New Flare to Iconic 40/40 Nightclub

The 40/40 Club announced that on June 1st, 2011 they will be undergoing complete renovations from floor to ceiling and will re-open their doors at the end of summer.  The total investment in this renovation project will reach over $10 million.  “After 9 years, the entire 40/40 Club team is excited to reinvent the club and re-define what it means to be a luxury sports lounge and nightclub,” explained owner Juan Perez.  Overall, the design of the space will combine the sumptuous majesty and exhilarating spirit for which the 40/40 brand is known.

“The renovation and expansion of the renowned 40/40 Club draws inspiration from the energy, grandeur and opulence of New York City nightlife” explained lead designer Jeffrey Beers. The club will be the nucleus of 40/40’s expanding brand, as well as the springboard from which other locations will emerge. The character and materiality of this flagship venue combines the lavish warmth of a New York City penthouse with the vivacity and glamour of court-side seats at a championship game.

Key elements that capture this feeling include a new Broadway grand entrance to the club, custom illuminated amber resin bar top, illuminated bottle display tower (18’ tall), supple leather upholstered wall paneling, custom walnut millwork with smoked bronze mirrors, enlarged marble stepped arena-style seating with plush lounge banquettes, giant state-of-the-art LED television displays, a new second floor ‘catwalk’ allowing guests to circumnavigate the ‘scene’, and specialty viewing lounges with private bottle service, appropriately outfitted with large screen HD televisions . The  V.I.P. / Private Rental areas will be reinvented as well.  The five exclusive lounge rooms will feature luxurious bespoke lounge seating encircling the room, custom billiards tables, multiple large screen HD televisions, custom chandeliers, cerused oak paneling with silver leaf molding, and stately oak wood floors.
