The Bridgehampton Polo Club was the embodiment of summer this past Saturday as select guests spent the afternoon sampling top champagne and viewing thrilling polo play as the club kicked off its 15th anniversary season. Celebrity guests such as Russell Simmons and Kelly Klein along with a multitude of other haute Hamptons socialites gathered at the elite Blue Star Jets VIP Tent as the polo play got under way.
The Vanitey Belles performed the national anthem before Betsey Johnson herself threw in the ball to mark the beginning of the game between White Birch Farm and Yellow Cab. Spectators then watched as prestigious polo players like Nacho Figueras, the face of Ralph Lauren, made their way onto the CIRCA Championship Field.
Those enjoying the game from inside the VIP tent were serenaded by live music from DJ Airloom and invited to nibble upon delectable fare care of the Southampton Social Club.
