Napa Valley Grille, centrally located in the heart of Westwood, is an official participant of the Westwood LIVE series. Kicking off this past spring for the first time ever, this monthly series features a variety of local restaurants, bars, lounges and shops opening their doors every third Thursday of the month to offer exclusive discounts, live music, art-related performances and other entertaining activities throughout the evening, starting at 5 p.m.
For this upcoming series’ installation on Thursday, July 21st, Napa Valley Grille will run a BBQ-themed special: the Beef Slider Duos and Pabst Blue Ribbon combo, priced at $5. Chef Joseph Gillard returned to his Fremont, Michigan roots in order to concoct this summery dish, which includes crispy onions and a spicy horseradish on a house-made bun. Pabst Blue Ribbon, affectionately coined as “PBR,” is a widely popular Midwest beer that hails from Wisconsin, and has recently become quite popular on the Los Angeles nightlife scene.
In addition to this $5 deal, there will complimentary wine tastings during the evening. Guests will be able to gather around the wine barrel that is set up close to the restaurant’s entrance and sample many popular Napa wines, from wineries such as Chalone Vineyards and Beaulieu Vineyards. Happy hour pricing will go from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. and from 9 p.m.-12 a.m. The price point for cocktails is $4-$8 and for appetizers $4-$7. In honor of summer, we highly recommend the following: the Chopped Kale Salad (light and reinvigorating); the Pan Roasted Local Padron Peppers (fiery and unforgettable); the Margarita (cool and refreshing); and the Woodchuck (only for the strong at heart!).
All of Napa Valley Grille’s Westwood LIVE and happy hour activities will take place on its vibrant outdoor patio, where DJ Luis Otero will spin a relaxing mix of music for guests to enjoy. Festivities take place from 5 p.m. -11 pm., so be sure to stop by during that time.
