Eva Longoria’s Las Vegas Nightclub Closes

The Las Vegas nightclub owned by “Desperate Housewife” Eva Longoria is temporarily closing its doors due to financial woes.

Located within the prime MGM Grand CityCenter complex location on the Las Vegas Strip—also home to the Aria and the Mandarin Oriental resorts—Longoria’s Eve Club closed last Monday after having filed for bankruptcy in January. The federal Chapter 11 filing claimed the nightspot was losing more than $76,000 each month it remained open.

The club is attached to Longoria’s Beso Steakhouse restaurant, which will remain open because it is still able to turn a profit. Meanwhile, plans to renovate and eventually reopen the nightclub will likely be underway soon.

Beso Steakhouse, along with Eve Club, opened in December 2009 and is Longoria’s second restaurant. She and celebrity Chief Todd English initially opened Beso Restaurant in Hollywood in 2008 before expanding to Las Vegas.
