Christian Louboutin Celebrates One-Year Anniversary in Beirut

Prominent Lebanese social figures joined Christian Louboutin last night to celebrate the one-year anniversary of his flagship store in Beirut. The designer arrived with Lebanese singer Elissa to over 250 adoring fans.

VIP guests included Maya Diab, Information Minister Walid Daouq, Sheikha Amal Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Myriam Fares, Gordon Campbell Gray and designer Hatem Alakeel.

Guests were given the opportunity to pre-order exclusive Fall/Winter 2011 collections and special pieces. The designer mingled with guests, signed shoes for many VIPs and posed for photographs with his “red sole” fans. Louboutin gave Elissa a tour of the boutique while adoring onlookers watched and took photographs.

The Christian Louboutin boutique opened last July in downtown Beirut.
