Wo Hing General Store, named for a nickname of Phan’s late father, will take the vacant space left by popular eatery Slanted Door when it moved locations in 2002. Phan has announced that the new restaurant will feature a Chinese menu but will not be similar to his Heaven’s Dog eatery. Along with a tasty meal Wo Hing General Store will also offer guests a full array of cocktails and a significant list of satisfying non-alcoholic beverages.
Wo Hing General Store is sure to join Slanted Door, Out The Door and Heaven’s Dog as a must-visit for San Franciscan food lovers as well as another Phan success story.
