Last night, around 7pm, New Yorkers received quite the unexpected show.
Aerialist Seanna Sharpe and “sometime artist and magician” Savage Skinner climbed the Williamsburg Bridge at which point Sharpe, with help from Skinner above and a silk rope, performed acrobatic stunts for over 15 minutes for over 100 onlookers.
“My goal is to face my fear and to inspire others to face their fears,” Sharpe explained before the performance. After Police forced them to seize the risky performance which have resulted in Sharpe and Skinner facing charges of reckless endangerment and criminal trespassing.
