On Saturday, June 25th, Lacoste and EMM Group hosted a backyard barbecue previewing select dishes from the highly anticipated new restaurants, Lexington Brass (set to open later this summer) and CATCH (set to debut this fall).
Top Chef season three winner, Hung Huynh (Executive Chef for CATCH) and Franklin Becker (Executive Chef of Abe & Arthur’s and Lexington Brass) enlisted guest sous chef and Dancing with the Stars alum, Kirstie Alley for a quick-fire challenge. Chef coaches helped whip up dishes from the menus of their soon-to-open restaurants, Lexington Brass and CATCH. CWE Media President Charlie Walk emceed the affair while Steve Birkhold, CEO and President of Lacoste, volunteered his taste buds to join in the fun and judge the quick-fire challenge.
The crowd rooted the sous chefs on as the cook-off came to an extremely close conclusion… Meanwhile at the Sag Harbor soiree, guests including Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford (with her daughter Helena), EMM Group owner Eugene Remm, Birkhold’s wife Nicole and Alley’s daughter Lillie Price, enjoyed many activities including croquet, badminton, cornhole and swimming.
