Haute Restaurant Palm Beach: The Raw Kitchen

The Raw Kitchen serves organic raw vegan cuisine that is delightful and divine! The owners are three lovely ladies named Iris Garcia, her sister Gigi Garcia, and Executive Chef Brenda Kunkler. As I talk about in the NOURISHMENT chapter of my book SONIA’S RING: 11 WAYS TO HEAL YOUR HEART, what we eat is imperative to help maintain wellness and good health!

We all have our own “9/11 moments” and indeed, Brenda Kunkler had her own “9/11 moment” when she was diagnosed with cancer just four years ago. So talk about transforming a negative into a positive wonderful gift!  She was inspired to open The Raw Kitchen after her three week stay at the Hippocrates Health Institute, where she went to help heal her cancer. She is a testimony to what raw food and a healthy lifestyle can do to not only improve your life, but in her case saved her life.

The food is amazing and for dear Haute Living readers who only love the best of the best, this place is a must! The juices include “the purifier” that has organic red juice of root vegetables known to be blood tonic beet, carrot, ginger, and apple amongst others!  My favorite is the Nori Wrap that includes incredible coconut meat, marinated sprouted millet, white sesame seeds, and julienned market vegetables wrapped in a nori roll with sesame Ginger sauce. This place is heaven; there is even pizza made with sprouted buckwheat crust for all my haute gluten free readers.

And I must mention the chocolate coconut parfait that is a chocolate mousse, fresh coconut, mixed with goji berries and vanilla cream! Yummy! That is what they call “sweet mamas”!  So whether you have what I call in my book a “9/11 moment” or not we all can aim to be the best we can be and forge forward to persevere and live a better life now.  Wellness and good health can not only make your life better and happier, but helps to better the world.

The Raw Kitchen is located at 509 clematis street, west palm beach, florida 33401 and for more information call 561.820.0144. They are open everyday for lunch from 11:30 to 4 p.m., and Wednesday through Saturday for dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.
