Haute News: Trump “Not Fired”

While Donald Trump may not be the next president, he certainly is laughing all the way to the bank. The real estate mogul and star of the NBC reality show, “The Celebrity Apprentice”, is receiving a raise. He’ll now be paid $160 million for renewing his show with the network for two more years. Trump personally will take home $65 million per year, while his co-producer Mark Burnett, will earn the rest.
That gives Tump the dubious honor of being reality TV’s other top earners, over the Kardashians and the “American Idol” judges. Fox never even paid former lead judge Simon Cowell more than $45 million, according to the sources.
The reality TV franchise is entering its 11th season in March, and already has major advertising deals lined up with Procter & Gamble and General Motors.
In the meantime, Trump was in Scotland yesterday, promoting his plan to build yet more golf courses.
