Haute Event: Skrillex Remembers ‘Jackass’ Star Ryan Dunn During the Electric Daisy Carnival

Skrillex pauses for a moment of silence to honor Ryan Dunn during the Electric Daisy Carnival.

Saturday night, electronic artist Skrillex played to a massive crowd at the Neon Garden stage at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Just before ending his set in the early hours of the morning, Skrillex asked the fans to dedicate a moment of silence in memory of his friend Ryan Dunn.

The daredevil, made famous by appearances in “Jackass” and MTV’s “Viva La Bam,” was tragically killed in a car accident last week. A hush came over the area normally filled with dubstep beats and hardwave tracks, while fans raised their cell phones to light up the area and show appreciation for the young star lost too soon.
