Haute Dining: Almond Restaurant Is Bridgehampton’s Hot Spot
by Blair Cassuto/Susie Wong

Almond is a casual, elegant French and Mediterranean restaurant in Bridgehampton offering quality service and delicious food. The Almond has become a Hamptons hotspot for celebrities and tourists alike.
Since opening in 2001, it has grown tremendously, becoming a staple for locals in the Hampton area. According to Diner’s Journal, the touted French bistro recently upgraded to the former One Ocean space on the corner of Bridgehampton’s Main Street and Ocean Drive. The new digs open just in time for the long weekend and a bevy of new and old faces.
The mouthwatering menu includes escargot, steamed black mussels, steak frites, and fennel ceviche. The main attraction proves to be the Hangar Steak, which can be served three ways: with sauce bordelaise and roasted shallots; au poivre, a spicy peppercorn sauce; or with crumbled Roquefort, which is steak covered in cheese. Crowds flock to Almond for their notorious “Karaoke Nights” every Saturday, which guarantees a good time and memorable night.
