Displaying the stage presence that captivated Glastonbury just one day before this unprecedented private gig, Beyonce was dressed to impress in a canary yellow flapper dress, sparkling silver heels, dazzling diamond earrings and her trademark mane of blonde curls.
The VIP area was crammed with a guestlist that West London has never before seen. Beyonce’s husband Jay Z sat front row of the balcony with mother-in-law Tina Knowles, sitting beside Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessie J, Stella McCartney and Adele, whose concerns for her recently damaged voice proved unfounded as she sang along to Single Ladies from the best seat in the house. Other guests included Glee cast members Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr, who took a night out of their hectic European tour. Paloma Faith, Tom Ford, Matthew Williamson, Alexandra Burke, Sherdian Smith, JLS’ JB, The Sugababes’ Jade Ewen, Jade Parfitt, Mr Hudson, Henry Holland and Alison Mosshart, celebrating ahead of best friend Kate Moss’ weekend wedding, were all in attendance and enjoyed the show from the exclusive VIP area.
Guests sipped Belvedere cocktails, a collection named ‘4′ after the new album, while Beyonce performed album tracks Run the World and new single Best Thing I Never Had, classic hits like Halo, Work it Out, Irreplaceable, Single Ladies and Listen. The highlight of the evening came with a medley of covers from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and The Kings of Leon’s rock smash Sex is on Fire.
It was a truly unforgettable performance from the world’s greatest singer, and one that the capital won’t see for a long time to come. Belvedere is honoured to support the launch of 4 and the inimitable Beyonce.

Every second Saturday of each month, the Wynwood area and the Design District of Miami becomes the hottest place to be in the entire city. On any given day you can take your chances and explore some of the best galleries at the forefront of the art world in what you would think is one of the seediest neighborhoods in Miami but, during “Art Walk” it transforms into a hive of hustle and bustle. Here you can run into some of the most renown artists, socialites, art collectors, art dealers and celebrities just meandering from gallery to gallery. Most of the gourmet food trucks featured in the Food Network’s Truck Wars is concentrated in an empty parking lot that transforms into the center of sustenance where you can get some of the best street food in Miami and then keep walking to your next visual feast.
Throughout Wynwood more and more artists are opening studios on their own and heading up their own movement of independence and showcasing their art. On my last walk through the design district I ran into so many familiar faces and familiar art, it made me feel right at home. The City of Miami is now beefing up security and seeing a police officer every 2 to 3 blocks ensuring the safety of everyone has become common place. The introduction of the Design District, Midtown and Wynwood Experience Gallery Shuttle offers visitors to ARTWALK a passport to go to all of the 3 neighborhoods best eateries galleries and shops.

On the second Saturday ARTWALK you can take in the latest works of noted artists, meet them, Shake their hands and discover what their inspirations are. On our last visit we were happy to meet Carlos Navarro, Miguel Parredes, Erni Vales, Noel, Gil Bitton and Michael Perez among so many more. An evening full of so much Art, Food, Socialites, collectors and colors definitely makes ARTWALK a monthly Haute event not to be missed.

An interesting ATM receipt surfaced in East Hampton this past week after it was carelessly discarded by a still unconfirmed millionaire that needed some fast cash. Despite a $400 withdraw (plus the $2.75 withdraw fee), this mystery millionaire still had an available balance of $99,864,731.94 in their account.
While the account is rumored to belong to founder of hedge fund Appaloosa Management and self-made millionaire David Tepper, he denies the claim. Whether it’s Tepper or not, we’re interested.
If it is, we want to know who wouldn’t accept his credit card and demanded cash. If it isn’t Tepper’s, Haute Living wants to know who you are. You might have landed yourself a spot on the cover of our next issue.
Over 11 years ago, a competition was created to seek out the world’s finest wool. The World Wool Record Challenge Cup yearly results in the best quality wools, and the current record has resulted in a variety of the material with a thickness of 11.4 microns – which will be used to produce suits valued at $22,500 and up.
The annual competition takes place in Australia and New Zealand and is known to unveil some of the world’s finest and rarest wools. The competition takes into consideration factors such as transpiration, thermal insulation, crease resistance, lightness and comfort, and overall weight of the material. The winner of the competition has their entire harvest from the year bought by renowned Italian clothier Loro Piana. This year, the winning material will be used to produce only 40 of the exclusive suits.
According to Born Rich, the fabric produced from the fine wool is also marked with details like the place of origin and the year of shearing, making the wool ultra-exclusive and somewhat of a collector’s item.

With July 4th in a matter of days, there hardly seems a better time for some good, old-fashioned American fare. With the summer at its peak, celebrate the upcoming Independence Day by checking out any (or all!) of the top Zagat-rated American restaurants in San Francisco.
At the top of the list is Ad Hoc at 6476 Washington Street. Serving up tempting homestyle favorites like Snake River Farm’s Beef Tri-Tip served with roasted Brussels sprouts, Carolina rice, pulled pork, and fried parsley, this restaurant has an ever-changing potluck-style menu to reflect seasonality and keep you coming back for more.
If breakfast is more your patriotic meal of choice, head over to Mama’s on Washington Square at 1701 Stockton Street. At Mama’s, the breakfast staples have been perfected, like their scrumptious Cinnamon French Toast with seasonal berries or Farmers Omelette with fresh spinach, leeks, goat cheese, and bacon.
For meat lovers, nothing quite says “America” like a thick, juicy cut of perfectly charred meat. For all your patriotic steak cravings, make sure to head over the House of Prime Rib at 1906 Van Ness Avenue or Press, located at 587 St. Helena Highway. If poultry is more your thing, Maverick at 3316 17th Street is the place to go for comforting favorites like Fried Green Tomatoes with Chive-buttermilk Sorbet and Southern Fried Chicken with Dirty Red Rice and Broccoli Rabe – or their famous, scrumptious brunch.
Priceless artwork in famed art world mogul Larry Gagosian’s Hamptons mansion quite literally came under fire around 9 p.m. this past Tuesday night. While smoke filled the home members of the volunteer Amagansett Fire Department were able to quickly contain and put out the blaze in under a half an hour.
The fire started when sparks from a caretaker’s soldering work broke out in flames behind a refrigerator in the Charles Gwathmey designed home. Gagosian, who has worked with many artists from Damien Hirst to Andy Warhol, is currently abroad in Europe and was not present during the time of the fire. The caretaker was able to escape the flames with a few pieces of artwork.
“Our guys put it out pretty quick,” said Amagansett fire chief Mark Burnett of the fifty firefighters who fought off the blaze as it entered a bedroom and living room. “But there is a lot of smoke damage on the walls.” Many of Gagosian’s paintings were covered in Plexiglas so it remains to be seen if there was any permanent damage done to the legendary collection.

Eric Clapton is known for many things – mostly his unparalleled talents that have made him a rock legend and three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But one of his perhaps lesser-known passions is one for fine timepieces – namely vintage Rolexes. While vintage Rolexes themselves are incredibly valuable pieces of horology, those owned by celebrities make them even more coveted. Recently to hit the auction market is Clapton’s former 5513 Submariner with a rare Explorer dial.
The exceptional watch was sold by Clapton at a Christie’s auction in 2003 that featured an astounding 25 of his watches – 23 Rolexes and 2 Patek Philippes – for a mere $9,350 for the Submariner. Now years later, the watch is sure to fetch a much higher price. The piece is being sold through Fourtane in Carmel and is celebrated for its rare Explorer 3,6,9 Dial, a dial variation that is used characteristically for Rolex’s Explorer models, but seldom appeared on 5513 Submariners – precisely the reason why Clapton himself had to own it for his own collection.

Hollywood’s inaugural reality couple, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has listed their lavish Hidden Hills, CA mansion for sale at $12,999,000. Built in 2001 and located over a 2.25-acre private knoll, the expansive 6-bedroom, 10-bathroom dwelling is a breathtakingly gorgeous piece of prime luxury real estate.
Although he’s been dubbed the “Godfather of Heavy Metal”, you would never guess so from his house. According to Homes of the Rich, the estate was recently re-designed under the direction of renowned interior decorator to the stars Martyn Lawrence-Bullard. Within a private gated community, the sprawling 11,000 square foot mansion boasts luxe and dramatic features like a lofty foyer with a floating curved staircase, floor-to-ceiling windows that let in incredible natural light, a richly paneled study with a fireplace, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen and breakfast nook.
The formal dining and living rooms are perfect for entertaining, while a family room with beamed vaulted ceilings offers a family the ultimate place to kick back and relax. Additional amenities just add to the grandeur of the house – a gym, swimming pool with spa, BBQ area, commode and outdoor shower, and a full guest apartment with kitchenette.
