Winter Kate | House of Harlow 1960 Debuts Eyewear Collection

Nicole Richie’s line House of Harlow 1960 originally debuted as an accessories line sans eyewear in 2007, but through the years has expanded to include shoes, a ready-to-wear clothing by the name of Winter Kate, and even baby clothing. Spring 2011 begins on a bright foot with the launching of the line’s first eyewear collection in 6 diverse and fashionable styles to fit every face from oval to cat eyed shapes in spunky names like Cary, Charlotte, Sasha, Marie, Chelsea and Olivia (which can be seen respectively below).

Koko & Palenki, one of the few South Florida stores to carry Winter Kate | House of Harlow 1960, premiered the new collection last Friday, April 29 with a special private appearance by Nicole Richie herself. She visited the store at Aventura Mall to introduce the Spring 2011 line as well as the new eyewear collection. She also answered a brief Q&A and signed autographs. Donning clothes from her own clothing line at the event, her cool style and sweet personality charmed guests in attendance and made for a great way to spend the afternoon.
It’s no surprise that the brand has expanded to include eyewear, as it’s one of her style signatures. Whether oversized or vintage inspired, her shades have begun trends in years past.
Richie’s appearance at the store marked Koko & Palenki’s new marketing tour that will bring a variety of designers and celebrities to the stores.
