The Elite Car and Castle Tour – Luxurious European Travel by Supercar

Luxury European travel and exotic supercars – it’s about time those two things went hand-in-hand. While it is not unheard of to cruise an foreign countryside by car, the Elite Car and Castle Tour ups the ante with some extra speed. Let us be clear that this is not your average road trip. Developed by Austrian-based Como Travel, the tour is a three-week tour through England and Scotland in your choice of 15 of the highest-performing vehicles in the world.

Guests can live our their Top Gear fantasies with their choice of several lusted-after vehicles, including the Aston Martin DB9 Volante and V12 Vantage, Audi R8, Bentley GT Convertible, Ferrari 430 F1 Spider and California, Jaguar XF, Porsche 997 Turbo PDK, Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder, and the Maserati Quattroporte.

The adrenaline-filled driving tour will be supplemented by first-class luxury travel and two thrilling racetrack days. The tour is capped at 30 people and will start in September. Drivers will pick up their super-powered cars and embark on their journey, enjoying five-star luxury accommodations, gala dinners, and their two days on the track – while swapping cars along the way, if they wish. Off the track, participants will be able to take in amazing sights, including Amberley Castle and the world-famous Sharrow Bay Hotel, which is located picturesquely on the shore of Lake Ullswater and hosts a Michelin starred restaurant.

According to Gizmag, the speed-filled track days will be held at two of the world’s most famous – Brands Hatch and Silverstone. The Brands Hatch circuit boasts an exhilarating combination of dips, cambers, thrilling corners, and hills, leading it to be a favorite of pros to drive. Silverstone is historic, originally having opened as a WWII airfield before being transformed into a racetrack for the RAC Grand Prix.

The tour, which beings in September, costs approximately $34,500 per couple and includes car hire, most dinners, track racing days, and specialized group tours. For more information, visit www.comotours.com.
