Michael Laiskonis of Le Bernardin
Calling all food and art lovers to participate in a decadent night for a good cause.
At Taste & Tribute, A Benefit for the Tibetan Aid Project, enjoy a four-course meal prepared by several of New York City’s best chefs: Missy Robbins of A Voce, George Mendes of Aldea, Gavin Kaysen of Café Boulud, and Michael Laiskonis, pastry chef at Le Bernardin while sipping fine wines from Heitz Wine Cellars, a third generation family winery from Napa Valley, California.
Art-loving guests are invited to bid at the evening’s live auction, which will be conducted by Sandhya Jain Patel, the Indian and Southeast Asian auctioneer for Christies. Bid on delicate scrolls, intricate statues, and beautiful paintings from Tibetan artists as well as luxurious getaways like a 10-day Galapagos cruise on the National Geographic Endeavor, a hotel stay at one of the renowned Taj Hotels in India, and a vacation to Morocco’s premier mountain retreat the Kasbah du Toubkal.
