New Luxury Kempinski Hotel with Red Square View to Open Next Year

Hotel group of Kempinski is going to open second five-star hotel in Moscow in the city centre. To remind you, Kempinski opened Russia’s first luxury hotel, the Baltschug Kempinski, in 1992. It also operates the Kempinski Moika in St. Petersburg. Guests of the new Kempinski Nikolskaya will be able to see the Red Square and Kremlin panorama from their rooms.

Kempinski Nikolskaya will be situated in complex of historical buildings on the intersection of Nikolskaya street, Lubyanskaya square, Maly and Bolshoi Cherkassky lanes, built 130 years ago. Historical facades will be preserved during reconstruction.

The hotel will include 225 rooms including two President Luxus rooms with a 2,798-square-foot floor space, a 400-car underground garage, Parisian style French cafe, Italian restaurant and restaurant with Mediterranean and international cuisine, cigar lounge, and Latin-American bar with veranda on upper floor of hotel. In addition there will be a spa-centre with swimming pool and a fitness centre.

The luxury hotel will open in the second quarter of 2012, although it was originally planned for a 2011 opening. Like all Kempinski hotels, the new one at Nikolskaya will be unique, designed to meet guests’ high expectations. Kempinski hotel group exists since 1897. As Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, they are committed to providing their guests with memorable journeys inspired by exquisite European flair.
