It’s time to ring in the summer! Throw on those shades, soak in the sun, grab a chilly cocktail, and hit up our list for the best ways to spend Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons.

1. Eat at the New Nobu at the Beach

Undoubtedly, the Hamptons have most been abuzz with anticipation for the new branch of Nobu to open its doors this Memorial Day at the newly renovated Capri. Nobu at the Beach will bring Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s famous fresh sushi, seafood, and local Izakaya specialties to the new spot’s beautiful indoor/outdoor dining rooms, serving as the perfect summer dining destination. 2. Check Out the 4th Annual Montauk Art Show

This year’s 4th Annual Montauk Art Show continues to draw in both residents and visitors alike. The juried fine art festival returns, now under the direction of the Montauk Artist Association, as a nationally rated festival and is the first fine art show on Long Island to receive the coveted distinction.

3. Heat Wave’s Summer Kick-Off and Beach Party with Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen

Celebrate summer with Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen at Heat Wave’s Summer Kick-Off and Beach Party to benefit Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic. The bash will will feature a pop-up boutique of 50 designers, including Charlotte Ronson, Alexis Bittar, Sam Edelman, and much more. Take in an art show featuring many of the art world’s hippest artists, including photographer Ben Watts, Herbie Fletcher, Emmett Shine, and Eric Freeman. Proceeds will go towards medical and education services provided by Planned Parenthood.

4. Special Tastings at Avanti Culinary Market

Avanti Culinary Market has been a Hamptons staple for fresh and fine ingredients. Foodies can revel in their Memorial Day celebrations with a long weekend full of exclusive tastings and events, such as the 28th’s Kobe Beef BBQ sampling and a special chef appearance by Executive Chef Matthew Guiffrida. Also in honor of the holiday, a portion of the weekend’s profits will be donated to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

5. Pick Up Some Summer Essentials at Cynthia Rowley’s New Boutique
