What could be better than a party in Manhattan? A rooftop party in Manhattan. That’s what Thompson Hotels can now offer. The hip boutique hospitality group adds itself to the list of sky-high party makers. Above 6 at Six Columbus, overlooks a magnificent cityscape of the uptown area and closely oriented Central Park.

With such hotspot hotels as 60 Thompson, Thompson LES (Above Allen), Thompson Beverly Hills, and Donovan House, this new member of the family will feature a retractable roof, making it all-weather worthy.   The cocktail menu features tailored concoctions and a carefully curated medley of sakes, wines, and spirits available to oil up the social wheels, so to speak.

Above 6, perched atop the Thompson Hotel at Columbus Circle, promises to be the hit of the summer season for all the trendsetters and socialistas looking to make a splash on the scene.  Above 6 will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. No telling yet whether it will require a membership like Above 60, but saddle up for the breezy ride anyhow, it should be worth the petty fee.  On your next stay, if you’re looking for a fancy soirée or an escape from the bustling streets of Manhattan you can find it here.
