Haute Spot: Joie Opens First U.S. Boutique on Madison Ave
by Rochelle Fletcher

Since 2001, trendy women’s clothing label Joie has been filling the closets of the fashionable elite with its contemporary style and modern designs. The company started with its signature cargo pants, but has now has added more feminine tops, dresses, and cashmere sweaters while keeping its signature chic-yet-casual style.

Over the years, Joie has experienced massive growth with an annual rate of 20 to 25 percent. Not only acquiring national acclaim, the company also now has boutique locations in Japan, who have embraced the style of Joie into their culture, as well as their Paris, France location that opened in June 2009.

With its headquarters in Los Angeles, the company will now brave the streets of New York with high anticipations as it opens its first U.S. boutique on bustling Madison Avenue between 87th and 88th Streets.
