Haute Spot: Fashionably Late Thursdays at Liberty Hotel

Despite the apparent contradiction, it’ll pay to be prompt for this haute event.

Located at the foot of historic Beacon Hill, the swanky Liberty Hotel (215 Charles Street, Boston, 617.224.4000) plays host to Fashionably Late Thursdays each week, where leggy, elegant models decked out in designer duds strut their stuff among bourbon-sipping bystanders.

This week, Boston-based designers Shaunt Sarian of Sarian Boston and Annmarie LaFuici (of Annmarie LaFuici) will provide the featured fashion for their life-size Barbie dolls, who will strike poses and sashay to the booming backdrop of house musician Michael Savant.

Once the iconic Charles Street Jailhouse, the vibrant Liberty Hotel is now arresting architectural eye-candy after a $150 million acquisition, renovation and construction process. Offering five party-ready venues on-site (CLINK, Alibi, Scampo, the Liberty Bar, and Catwalk), the Liberty Hotel is the chic setting for your fashionable night out.
