Haute Living Heads to the Kentucky Derby

I left New York with Haute Living’s exclusive driving partner EmpireCLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services, who picked me up in a beautiful Mercedes S Series.

I then flew in a very small plane from New York to Louisiville. Everyone on the plane was coming in for the Kentucky Derby–hats were everywhere and the plane was a fun crowd.

After I checked into the Galt House (the official hotel for the Kentucky Derby, which has more than 1,300 rooms) I went to the Taste of Derby. It’s a great event where restaurants from all over the U.S., from Nobu in New York to places in the Midwest I had never heard of, serve food, wine, and liquor all night.

It was great to see Greg Simonian from Westime and The Lee Family from CH Premier and Chong Hing. And today I am looking forward to betting on horses and being part of the Derby and am heading to the big Mint Julep event tonight.
