Haute Event: Thor Movie Premiere and After Party
by Susie Wong

The Supperclub on Hollywood Boulevard was the place to be and be seen for the after-party on behalf of the cast of Thor on Monday night. El Capitan Theater premiered the movie based on the Marvel Comics hero and the realm of Asgard. Acura played not only host but chauffeur to the cast of the touted action-adventure flick who arrived to the party in a convoy of the official S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division) Acuras.
The stars of Thor, including Chris Hemsworth, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander, and Oscar-veteran Anthony Hopkins all comingled over drinks and canapés, then burned the calories off with a night of dancing. Jaimie Alexander was radiant in a silver gown, opting for a softer side of her warrior role, yet still worthy of Asgard.Comic book legend and co-creator of the Thor comic book, Stan Lee, who Hemsworth refers to as the “Original Thor” kept up with his younger stars as they celebrated well into the night.

Peter Facinelli left his Twilight fangs at home to spend an evening out with the cast of super-heroes, obviously aware they were no match. Peter roved, chatting with friends, keeping low, and simply enjoying the night. Colin Farrell was another low-lying face in the throng of celebs calling it a night after just a few celebratory drinks then cordially slipping out. Also sighted were buddies Anton Yelchin and Christopher Mintz-Plasse who came out to support the film.
