Haute Event: The Third Annual Finch’s Quarterly Review Filmmaker’s Dinner
by Rochelle Fletcher

This year, the Cannes Film Festival did not disappoint with an ample amount of celebrities, artist, designers and fashion. The third annual Finch’s Quarterly Review filmmaker’s dinner was filled with the who’s who and heavyweights of international celebrity. The host of the party included Charles Finch and  Nick Foulkes.

According to WWD, the dinner was held at the Hotel du Cap on the terrace restaurant overlooking the sea. Some of the many guest that were present at the exclusive dinner were Paul Allen, Lawrence Bender, Vanessa Hudgens, Mads Mikkelsen, Vincent Pérez, Mia Wasikowska, Boris Becker and Jerry Weintraub, Emily Browning, Max Irons, Jane Fonda and guest of honor Oscar and BAFTA award winning producer Jeremy Thomas.

Jane Fonda also made an appearance after she left the Pirates of the Caribbean: Of Stranger Tides screening. Fonda wowed the guests with an off the shoulder Badgley Mischka dress. Her shoes and bag were by Jimmy Choo and her jewelry included a Chopard 53.5-carat diamond necklace and an enormous 160-carat, cushion cut blue sapphire pendant.

Harvey Weinstein and Machesa’s Georgina Chapman were also attendees after Mrs. Chapman dressed Pirates of the Caribbean lead Penelope Cruz earlier that evening.

The dinner was a great success with an abundance of not only fashion and celebrity but also an ample amount of fun for attendees of the now annual dinner.
