Haute Event: Free Arts NYC Brings out the Stars for a Night at the Museum

The stars were gleaming on Tuesday night at the Chelsea Art Museum. It was the scene of the Free Arts NYC annual art auction where art and fashion coalesced to benefit and raise awareness for Free Art’s art education programs.The volunteer organization is dedicated to providing children and families in need with outlets for creativity through education and mentorship, touching over 24,000 lives to date.

Event guests sipped on Sant Arturo Wine and Alcaran Tequila cocktails as they meandered through the museum and admired displays before they were given the opportunity to bid on contemporary artworks from noted talents. Hosted by Mary Alice Stephenson and Amanda Ross, the festivities proved successful after raising $600,000 for the philanthropic cause.

A mere of celebrities were on hand to show support including Ed Westwick, Emily Mortimer, Molly Sims, Thom Filicia, Coralie Charriol Paul, Jamie Tisch, Ann Caruso, Dini von Mueffling and Julie Macklowe.\
