Haute Event: DeLeón Tequila and Columbia Records Presents “Locked” Featuring Peter Bjorn and John

DeLeon Tequila, famous for hosting upscale star-studded events and pairing New York’s cocktail culture with music, has recently teamed up with Columbia Records for an ongoing series titled “Locked.” Locked pairs rock-n-roll legends with the most storied venues in the city, like The Box and The Rose Bar.
The series kicked off last month at The Box where Foster the People performed. This past week, Peter Bjorn and John, the Swedish indie-rock trio, most known for their hit song “Young Folks”, played to an intimate crowd at The Rose Bar inside the Gramercy Park Hotel. The Rose Bar is a New York institution that has been called one of the most unique and exciting spots in the city. Its edgy and romantic vibe, artistic pieces by greats like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat and exquisitely prepared cocktails make this place a true gem and a storied venue.
Famous guests like Chelsea Handler, Philip Lim, Albert Hammon Jr. and Stacey Kubasak were in attendance and enjoyed specialty cocktails by the tequila brand. Locked will continue through the rest of 2011. You can find more information on upcoming shows on DeLeon Tequila’s blog.
