Hakkasan to Open in Dubai’s Emirates Towers

Renowned Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan will soon have a new home in Dubai’s Emirates Towers. Set to open in November 2011, the new 152-cover restaurant will feature innovative modern Cantonese cuisine and will have an additional 88-seat capacity on its outdoor terrace. The stunning venue will also include two private dining rooms and two semi-private sections outside as well as the Ling-Ling lounge for a more casual ambiance.

“As a result of our UAE customer’s requests and the success of our Abu Dhabi location, Hakkasan is proud to embark on a new era with the opening of Hakkasan Dubai in November at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Hakkasan’s anticipative sense of design, mysteriously elegant atmosphere and distinguished menu will without a doubt enrapture the taste buds of the socially chic and set itself apart as Dubai’s ultimate fine dining and lounge scene,” stated Niall Howard, Hakkasan’s CEO.

Since Hakkasan opened at the luxurious Emirates Palace in 2011 the restaurant has received great praise. It has been acclaimed by The Caterer as the Top Outlet Opening of the Year 2010; Time Out Abu Dhabi’s Best Newcomer Restaurant Award 2010; and three category wins at the UAE people’s choice What’s On Awards 2010 ceremony including the Favourite Far Eastern RestaurantFavourite New Comer and for the Best Chef of the Year 2010.

Chef de Cuisine Pang Pin Lee from Hakkasan Abu Dhabi will head the new Emirates Towers restaurant. With over 10 years experience in gourmet Cantonese cuisine and the art of Dim Sum Chef Pin Lee will incorporate his own innovative touch to the menu with new dishes designed especially for the UAE market alongside Hakkasan classics such as the Peking duck with Royal Beluga caviar; steamed dim sum platters; black cod in champagne sauce and grilled Wagyu beef with King soya sauce. An extensive beverage list will offer a great variety of teas from the best producers in Taiwan; Dragon Well green tea and High Mountain Oolong; and also some of the finest 50-year-old teas.
Dubai’s in great anticipation of Hakkasan’s new location.
