Dori’s World: Weekend Out in New York City
On Friday night, Jen Raines, Natasha Silver, Jonathan Cheeban, Inga Rubenstein and I all went to Beauty & Essex for a fun dinner. I love the fake pawnshop in the front and the two-level restaurant. Then we were off to Provocateur.
Saturday night I headed to Aby Rosen’s party for Christie’s “Bear Party,” which was in celebration of Urs Fischer’s monumental Untitled (Lamp/Bear) at the Seagram Building Plaza. Tico Mugrabi, Rob Vecsler, Libby and David Mugrabi, Mia Rowe, Jen Creel, Coralie Charriol, and Vikram Chatwal were all there.
Then off to dinner with Daniella Rich, Loren and JR Ridinger, Jack McCue and Anna Boiardi at The Darby. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady walked in after their day with Scott Sartiano at the Kentucky Derby. Another great weekend in NYC. Lizzie Tisch and I found a new obsession–the Moshi phone–they plug into your Blackberry…very cool.
