Ayyam Auctions will hold its eighth public sale this coming Friday at the Ayyam Art Center in Al Quoz, Dubai. This year’s first installment of the Young Collectors Auction features 65 lot representing established and emerging Arab and Iranian artists. The event takes place in a welcoming and casual setting catered to art aficionados with a keen eye to start their collections.

The biannual Young Collectors Auction has proved successful among new collectors with an interest in Middle Easter art. With estimates which range from $750- $8,000, the auction offers some of the region’s biggest names at affordable prices. Such a unique format creates a more accessible and less formal ambiance for prospective art collectors.

This edition of the Young Collectors Auction offers its largest number of lots including the mediums of sculpture, painting, photography, prints, and conceptual work. The artists featured include internationally recognized Middle Eastern artists such as Safwan Dahoul, Nadim Karam, Samia Halaby, Fateh Moudarres, and Fouad Elkhoury. Works by Oussama Diab, Alfred Tarazi, and Arash Hanei are part of the young and emerging artists on display.

Ayyam Auctions was launched in 2009 as part of Ayyam Gallery’s innovative approach to cater to its diverse range of clients. These public sales continually highlight some of the most prominent Middle Eastern artists. Ayyam Auctions has recently worked with other Middle Eastern galleries to ensure a stellar selection of painting, sculpture and photography. Each edition includes an increased number of lots emphasizing its  continued popularity.
