Looking to spruce up your home? Need some inspiration? Check out Inman Park’s Nandina Home and Design. This Atlanta home boutique, which opened in July of 2010, carries a luscious array of accessories, furniture, lighting and fabrics for the home and offers interior design services. Talk about a one-stop-shop.
The Atlanta store—there is another location in Aiken, South Carolina— is owned by John Ishmael (formally of Metropolitan Deluxe) and staffed with professional interior designers. With the edited selection of home accessories, furniture, lighting and fabrics, Nandina is luxurious yet welcoming. Real life set-ups are transposed throughout the store, giving you a feel for how things would look in your home. While many of the pieces are big ticket items— think ornate lighting fixtures, wooden tables— you can also walk out with a smaller goodies like Black Orchid candles or (my favorite) the Vento Ice. Some other great lines to look out for: Michael Aram, Global Views, Lee Industry Upholstery and Susan Easton Burns paintings.

The design team at Nandina is ready for anything. Some services include in-home consultations, window treatment design, art and accessory selection and space planning. From complete construction projects to simple paint and fabric choices, Nandina’s talented team will help bring style to any space.
Also, make sure to check out their monthly “Wine and Design” series featuring interior design tips for pairing and buying art, accessorizing and entertaining. To read more about upcoming events and collaborations with local artists, designers and chefs check out www.nandinahome.com
