House Warming: On May 2nd, a newly-remodeled floor gives the Hermès Scarf a new home

The house of Hermès reigns supreme as top-tier in terms of brands to acquire, collect, and keep for generations. And Quality of construction is at the helm of what makes the famed, French fashion house so very coveted by those in-the-know. As part of that history and tradition, their calling-card silk scarves, play a colorful role in the luxury we’ve come to expect from Hermès. It’s only fitting, to that end, that the brand’s Madison Avenue Flagship store would cater to the potpourri of scarf offerings by creating an entire floor on which for them to be properly showcased.
The new 2,100 square-foot floor will feature a mind-blowing array of product ranging from the most iconic accessories, to new designs, as well as introduce the Custom Silk Corner, where Hermès customers can customize and personalize their purchases, choosing from a selection of designs, colorations, and motifs, and then personalizing their scarf with everything from initials, to date, place, event or special message.
The RDAI-designed space, RDAI is a Parisian architectural agency founded by Rena Dumas, will also showcase products including fashion accessories, enamel bracelets, gloves, belts, and fragrances, all in a contemporary setting befitting our beloved Hermès.
Set to be unveiled May 2, 2011, the Hermès Flagship store is located at 691 Madison Avenue.
