Hautels: Anantara Opens Properties in the Maldives and Bangkok

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Anantara is set to expand its portfolio by 75 percent with nine openings in 2011, the first of which are the Anantara Kihavah Villas in the Maldives and the Anantara Bangkok Sathorn, the brand’s first city hotel.

The Anantara’s third Maldives resort is located on the secluded Kihavah Huravalhi, a 35-minute seaplane ride from Malé, with 78 overwater and beachfront villas with private infinity pools and personal butlers plus a 160-f00t-long swimming pool, the longest in the Maldives.
Anantara’s first urban hotel in Bangkok, meanwhile, offers two 37-floor towers of accommodation with balconies overlooking the Chao Phraya River and the bright lights of the Thai capital.
