by HauteLiving

We’ll leave the gun controversy at bay simply to introduce the work of art that is the world’s most expensive rifle.
VO Vapen, a leading Swedish rifle and gun maker, is the brains behind this firing masterpiece. Master Gunsmith Viggo Olsson and his son, Ulf Olsson, have personally created all the VO rifles. This one in particular honors the falconry traditions so prominent in the Arab world by its depiction of Saker and Peregrine falcon engravings. As the more expensive rifle of the world, VO Falcon Edition is available for $820,000.
The Rifle’s octagon barrels have been crafted out of Damascus steel, while the rest of the finest walnut root. This is the first of only five units of this iconic VO Falcon Edition models will be created, each unique in their embellishments. Each rifle will come with VO Vapen’s ginature patented system that makes it possible for hunters using the rifle to use several different calibers.

Vo Vapen is a favorite luxury brand of celebrities and royalty around the globe. The King of Sweden, H.M. King Carl XVI has given a royal appointment to this firm; while other royal families who are customers of them include H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is a member of Royal Family of Abu Dhabi.
