The elegant look conceals a multifaceted system of 338 components of the brand’s automatic, self-winding movement, which can be admired from the back of the case through anti-reflective sapphire crystal. In 1966 Girard-Perregaux was awarded the Centenary Prize from the Neuchâtel Observatory crediting its research in the field of precision. The Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection pays homage to this spirit of ingenuity and has become an icon of the name.
