Why she loves Miami: Miami is like no other city, with beautiful beaches, incredible energy, great diversity of people and year-round bikini season!

It’s no surprise that someone born on an island and raised near the beaches of Miami would be inspired to create one of the hottest swimsuit lines in the industry.  Luli Fama, co-owned by Lourdes and her brother-in-law Augusto Hanimian, launched their first sun-seeking collection in 1993, just three years after they first met.  In 2003 Luli Fama was established and now the luxurious line includes cover-ups, embellished and Caribbean-inspired monokinis and bikinis bearing the signature ruched-back bottoms, and recently dresses.

Her designs have been spotted on the pages of major publications and the bodies of Hollywood mavens such as Beyonce, the Kardashians, Bar Rafaeli and Sports Illustrated cover-model Irina Shayk.
