Luxury automaker, Jaguar, invited Haute Living to enjoy an intimate driving experience in the stylish and sleek 2011 Jaguar XJ and we were one of the few given a Turbo Charged Jaguar XJ that demanded to flex some of the muscle under the hood. We began our day at ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa where we were treated to light bites and refreshments and had the opportunity to choose a stylish pair of Ray-Ban aviators provided by Lincoln Road’s Optical Shop of Aspen at the outdoor sunglass bar.

Before taking off on a customized course leading to Boca Raton Resort & Club, XJ passengers were provide with Flip Video Camcorders to document their adventure. As we weaved and worked our way through some light traffic you noticed the attention to detail by the automaker and the elegance that this automobile exudes.

It was a perfect marriage between performance and luxury. The new lines give your eyes the impression of length and regalness it is also compounded by the spacious interior and contemporary design to create an environment more akin to a state-of-the-art living space than a car cabin.

We were also in great company and our caravan of Jaguar XJ consisted of some familiar faces such as “Gossip Girl” star Jessica Szohr, Juan and Jorge Arevalo, Susanne Birbragher, Hernan Arriaga, Ines Rivero, Fernanda Domit, Richard David Story, Jennifer Crandall, Sarah Harrelson and Guenter Rauscher.

Once arriving at our destination we were invited to a special sushi menu at Morimoto and sweet treats from Serendipity before buckling up and hitting the pavement for our return to Bal Harbour. This luxurious driving and dinning experience made it a Haute Event not to forget.
