Haute Event: Penelope Cruz Earns Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
by HauteLiving

On April 1, in anticipation of the release of her new film, The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the beautiful Penelope Cruz finally got her deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Co-star Johnny Depp, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and director Rob Marshall were there to celebrate her great accomplishment.

With a recently added Academy Award under her belt along with her other awards praising her talent as an actress, she has proven herself to be one of the most versatile actresses in the industry. She’s also the first actress from Spain to be nominated and to win an Oscar.

From being introduced to American audiences in the Spanish films Jamon, Jamon and Belle Epoque to working with Halle Berry in Gothika and with Woody Allen in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, its easy to see that Penelope Cruz has truly earned her own star for everybody to see.
