Haute Event: Michelle Williams Attends Screening of “Meek’s Cutoff”
On March 28, a star-studded event occurred right in the heart of New York City at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema, for a screening of Michelle William’s new upcoming film, Meek’s Cutoff. Along with Appleton Estate Rum, Cinema Society & Nancy Gonzalez did everything in their power to make this event as memorable as possible, and they did so impeccably.
The drama carried on for a fine duration, and had viewers awestruck by the impeccable acting abilities that were shown throughout; Zoe Kazan, and director of the film Kelly Reichardt, and 30-year-old Michelle Williams were escorted to the screening and to the after party on the rooftop of the James Hotel in Tribeca. Hollywood celebrities who came to support Williams in the film were Sheryl Crow, Courtney Love, Dana Delany, Holly Hunter, Sofia Coppola, Irina Pantaeva, Paul Dano, Alan Cummings, Anna Sui, Fabien Baron, Olivier Theyskens, Shalom Harlow, Stephen Baldwin, Colin Quinn, Dominic Fumusa, Fred Armisen and Rachel.
It seems as though Hollywood took New York by a storm with this extravagant, yet comfortable, event to celebrate cinema and have an amazing time. The only thing that overshadows the amusement within the after party was the spectacular performance put on by Michelle Williams herself in Meek’s Cutoff.
